Clinically the arthritis occupies much part of musculoskeletal diseases. The arthritis is subordinate to Bi-jeung in the oriental medicine. The causes of Bi-jeung are almost proposed as Pung-Han-Sup-Yeol, and various herb medication were composed following this standard.
In this paper, herb medications corresponded with Bi-jeung of Bangyakhappyeon (Û°å·ùêøº) were analyzed. And the results are as follows.
1. Herb medications of Bi-jeung were composed with 4 parts, Sangtong (8 medications), Jungtong (7), Hatong (6) and Jeungbobang (7).
2. Herb medications of Bi-jeung were almost composed with Geopungsupyak (袪ù¦ã¥å·), Haepyoyak (ú°øúå·), Onryyak (è®ìÀå·), Boyikyak (ÜÍìÌå·), Yigiyak (ìµÑ¨å·), and Hwalhyeolgeouhyak (üÀúì袪åÜå·).
3. Analyzed with a source book, Dongeuibogam was the most quotational literature.
